Brand and logo design
Ricardo's last name, Naranjo, which translates to "orange" in Spanish, provided the inspiration for an elegant logomark. While the logomark represents an orange surrounded by four leaves, it also pays homage to the culture and history of San Luis Obispo where Elegant Details is based. The stunning Spanish-style tilework found throughout the region served as inspiration for the logomark's pleasing symmetry and balance.
Because Ricardo's floral designs are so vibrant and full of color, we opted for a color palette that would enhance rather than distract from the beauty of his work. Soft neutrals serve as the backdrop for Ricardo's artistry. The brand typography strikes a balance between modern and classic styles, with a hint of coastal California flair. The result is a brand identity that beautifully represents Ricardo's artistry and connection to his community.
