Ok y’all, fair warning: this website WILL give you baby fever. Aimee of Aimee Hamilton Photography is an incredibly talented newborn and maternity photography serving the Dallas area. Aimee’s light and airy style is so elegant and beautiful!

Aimee decided it was time for a new website because her family is moving to a new city and she wanted her website to be in tip-top shape to serve her new clientele. Aimee’s website was built in WordPress Elementor, a user-friendly builder that allows you to visually design your WordPress site. Aimee selected the beautiful East Hampton template from Davey & Krista. I LOVE template customizations; it really is amazing to watch a template take on a totally new look and feel by applying your images and brand! This template was a great fit for Aimee and we worked together to make it perfectly fit her brand and serve her well during this transition time for her business!

Some of the ways we customized Aimee’s template were with:

• Videos incorporated throughout the site that show off more of Aimee’s client experience (you HAVE to check out the testimonial video on her investment page!)
• Specific customized pages for Aimee’s different client experiences: maternity & newborn, cake smash, and family
• Her new brand colors and fonts (which look totally gorgeous!)
• Galleries that showcase her photography style & talent!

Aimee was kind enough to share her thoughts on what it was like going through this redesign process with template customization:

A big move across the state! I could have just updated my SEO, but I felt like it was a good time for a complete overhaul that fit more with my brand goals.

I did a lot of research when I was deciding between Elementor and Showit. I found several resources that recommended Elementor for its SEO capabilities and I also liked that it is cheaper than Showit. So far, I really think that Elementor will be an excellent fit for me. I love the drag and drop capabilities that I didn’t have before! It seems like this will be a much easier platform to use with super simple editing.

What was the benefit of template customization services rather than DIY?

I actually really loved the idea of being able to search for and select my own template. I felt like it allowed me to part of the branding process while also giving me the opportunity to step away from it and let a professional customize it. I’m confident that the end result would have been different if I had tried it on my own.

What are you most excited about with your new site?

Oh my gosh, it is so clean! I think that the simplicity really reflects my brand, but also have enough personality to implore clients to want to book a session with me. I’m really excited to introduce it to my clients!
