I was so excited when Kristen Schulle of Angelic Edge Photography reached out about designing a new Showit website for her Texas-based wedding photography business!
Angelic Edge Photography is bold, colorful, and romantic. Kristen is inspired by earthy tones and bright colors, which we incorporated throughout her site. Kristen’s love for her craft and her clients shines in everything she does, so it was time for a site that reflected that!
A few of my favorite details about Kristen’s new site are:
- The “pop quiz” on her about page showcasing her personality to make a personal connection with her clients.
- A new blog layout that is seamless to navigate and that clients will love to explore.
- A simplified navigation menu to serve her wedding and portrait clients and their unique needs.
- A fun and engaging footer that adds another level of personalization across her site!
Kristen was kind enough to share some of her thoughts about launching her new Showit website:
I decided to redesign my website because over the years since I started out doing weddings, my work has really evolved. I’m constantly testing my limits and abilities, refining my craft, challenging my creativity. My previous site did not reflect how I viewed my work as an artist nor did it reflect the quality of my work and experience I provide as I have built it.
I decided to hire a site designer because I flat out just didn’t have the time to work on it. I started out working on this new site over a year ago. It took me months between working two jobs to get just the home page done and I got so busy that it just stayed that way until now. I knew what I wanted, I just knew it would take me way too long to get there without help. Alex understood my vision and blew it out of the water!
What’s your favorite thing about your new site?
My favorite thing about my new site is my About Page. It’s so important to me that I am able to connect with my clients on a deeper level and that starts with me being real about who I am. This isn’t a big corporate person you are communicating with, it’s a real person with a family, hopes, and dreams, working her booty off for her clients and to support her family.
Thank you so much, Kristen! I’m so excited about this new chapter for Angelic Edge Photography and I hope your new Showit website will serve you well for many years to come.
